Hi there,

I'm just playing with Maxedia Broadcast, and I've streched engine 1 trought 2 DVI outputs, and I was wondering if I can connect 2 triplehead2go on each of these outputs in order to have a 6 projector screen.

It seems to be handle to do this with monitors but no with edge blending.

The first problem I've is that is not possible to make and edge blending for more than 3 projector in each engine...

BTW, will be wonderful as well to have the posibility to attach engine 2 as extension of engine 1, to be able to do a 9 projector/monitor screen.

Is this in project or considered? Any workaround?

Cheers,

Each video card can only handle 1 TripleHead2Go
So on a broadcast you need to put one TH2G on each card.

you can then do a 3 Projector wide screen.

The upcoming software release will have also edgeblending, keystone and warping available on the second engine.
So you can connect 6 projectors with 2x TripleHeqad2Go's on one broadcast to make a giant screen.

Then, engine 2 will be an extension of engine 1 to have the same signal stretched on the 6 projectors??

It is already on this release version?

Still seperate engine, so you have to make two cues and call them simultaneously.

And will be possible for a future to have 6 projectors on 1 engine, using both outputs on the graphic card?

Paul,
or just make passible to trigger a Cue on both engines at same time, to be able to do that... just one click and 2 engines running same cue sync.

or any ETA on extend cues between engine 1 and engine 2?

Triggering the same cues on both engines would display the same image on both engine outputs.
Most likely you want a bigger canvas, so both engines run one half of that image, thus needing two seperate cues triggered.

Yes,

But an option to do that automatically will be wonderfull, like extend engine 1 onto engine 2 and have auto half and half cue on both engines....

Thanks

In theory yes, but it would also mean half of the resolution would be displayed, and content would be stretched 2x horizontal

But large resolution files can be made for this situation like 3840x1080 (2 x 1920x1080) to have F-HD on both engines and avoid stretching...

Or simply, extend the workspace... and have "effects" on this large workspace, not an individual stretched file...

Thanks,
