We have a Maxxyz+ console with 2.80.373 says it only has a 32 Universe License.
I would like to get it to 64 Universe and tried to put our M-PC hasp on it and it did not go up is it possible to get 64 Universe on the Maxxyz+?

No.
The processor is not capable of calculating that many DMX channels.

If we got a M1 and multiple Ether2DMX8 can we get to 64 Universe?

or what would your suggestion be

what I need is 40 Universe any where between 100 to 300 DMX channel per Universe

Sorry, also not possible. The M1 maxes out at 16 Universes.

The only product that can go to 64 Universes is M-PC Pro or using 8x Ether2DMX8 on a PC with a programmer and playback module.

Thanks Matthias

So if I understand correctly If I get 5 (only need 40 universe) of the Ether2dmx8 that would give me 40 universe with out the HASP or do I still need the HASP?

The Ether2DMX8 contains a license for 8 Universes. No HASP needed.

Are there any plans for dealing with rigs that need a substantial amount of universes?

For example, running 12 HES DL-3's takes up 12 individual universes, since I'm running two full-size Maxxyz it's not a problem as lighting (8 hard line +2 Artnet Universes) and video (12 Artnet universes) are on separate consoles. I am assuming that if we were to try and merge show files onto one M1 it wouldn't be possible due to needing 22 universes? Would the use of an Ether2DMX8 and a 4 channel Martin box take are of the necessary lighting universes and I could still use the 16 M1 universes for video or is it 16 total universes throughout the entire system?
