I am also having the same issue. I am running 2.6.364.0. Talking with others on here, it seems there is an issue right now the remote. I am sure it will be addressed soon. Just keep checking back!

The remote works in 364 and 373. Some routers however may cause issues.
Netgear N150 works with all consoles, I have used it myself.

No, the wireless speed wouldn't matter, but N is preferred.

I used a different router. It did not work. Can you explain the 364 and 373 theory to me. I am not an I.t. guy.
Thanks

Those are software version numbers.

What port on the router are you using?

I have tried all the internal ports. No luck. I can get to where I enter the pass code then it disconnects. This has only happened 2times.

Try to to set the password at 000000 this way it will not ask for a password.
Maybe it will help in your situation.

Try this.
Reset your router back to factory settings. Make sure the console is plugged into a LAN port, not the WAN port that you would normally plug an internet connection into (DSL modem, cable modem, etc)
Go into your routers config page and set the IP to something very nice easy like 172.0.0.1
Make sure there aren't any firewalls, port forwarding, QoS, etc. Make sure you're starting from as open a router as you can possibly get. When I start I don't even password protect the router. Don't hide the SSID, name it MaxRemote or something. Make sure you're broadcasting on a channel other than 6 or 11 (these seems to be the most common and most prone to interference)
Check the network pane in the console to make sure you're getting an IP in the 172.x.x.x range. Do the same for your iPhone.
Try Paul's password idea or something similarly easy.
If you can, try more than one iPhone at a time and see if the error repeats itself.

I've had luck starting back from square numero uno and working up from there. I've also noticed depending on the building sometimes there's just too much interference to reliably maintain a connection, even though I've got "full bars" on my phone.

Let me add some strangeness to this issue
Same router plug into a M-PC system running 2.80.374 not connect to internet it works great
Same router plug into Maxxyz + running 2.80.374 not connect to internet it does not work , Same setup plug into the internet it works fine
Just to clarify
Using a Netgear N150, cable from LAN port on router to Ethernet port on M-PC system no cable plug into the WAN port system work like it should
Netgear N150 cable from LAN port on router to Network port on Maxxyz+ no cable plug into the WAN port system does not work Plug cable into WAN and connect to internet system works

Any ideas?
