I have imported images in the past as user textures and have had mixed success in that every now and then my yellow colors may appear pink or the whole thing will come in looking wonky.

What I think caused different problems is not knowing what the Maxedia's prefered settings for images are and also being sure that my images were created with the proper settings.

I am sending out to some HD equipment so I am working on some new artwork am taking a logo (eps) into photoshop and putting in some effects and backgrounds. I have my new image set to 1920 wide by 1080 high.

What I want to know is what is the preferred resolution Pixels/inch, photoshop defaults at 72. What mode do I want to save my images in RGB, CMYK or other. I would think RGB. If so 8 bit, 16 bit or 32 bit? My end result will want some clear areas behind that will have content playing behind the logo and I want to be sure I am saving as a png. If there are any good notes on saving for that anyone has it would be appreciated.
