I am using M-pc basic version to control arkaos via artnet.
I believe the profile for arkaos is causing me grief, because the
video output is crooked. When arkaos runs by itself, everything is straight, as soon as i engage dmx the video output is crooked.
Is there a way to edit the profile for arkaos?
I would appreciate any help in this matter, because my client is ready to return M-pc, and go with a different dmx controller.
Thank you,
Brad K

We have many cutomers using M-PC and Arkaos together, so we know it works.

Most likelky the default values are set wrong, maybe theyr were recorded like that by idnavertance.

Try this

Clear the Programmer
Go to the Preset page and select the DEFAULT tab at the top.

Press Record and then press the Default button within the Default tab.
A popup will ask if you want to merge or replace. Choose Replace.

This should set all default values to factory default

If this doensn't fix it then using the programmer set all values so the images is as wanted.

Press record and still in the Default preset tab, press default and this time select Merge.

I know that Arkaos is used others and I am not aware of a dmx profile issue.
Can you describe your situation at bit more in detail?
Version of Arkaos, what profile patched.
It may just be some default values wrong or a mismatch in DMX modes.
Does it react at all? Is there a specific channel that causes the output problem and do you happen to know what the parameter is called on the Arkaos?

You can compare the channel list in the M-PC patch to the Arkaos user manual.

Hi Paul/Matthias,

I use Arkaos Mediamaster 2.2 quite a lot and there indeed a error in the profile which make the images slightly crooked. I noticed it just after the profile came out. From memory I believe its on the horizontal plane and maybe also on the vertical.

I have already emailed tech support sometime ago about this issue but it has not been corrected as yet. I emailed the values that needed fixing.

I will try emailing those values again with a list of values for the newer version profile which has new features implemented.

@ Brad don't give up just yet. Just use pan and tilt to correct it and save it as a preset position as I have for the last 12 months. remember to save it too all layers tho. If you select all the layer and hit the preset then save it in the first cue it will remain correct through you entire cuelist.

Regards

Steve

I don't remember seeing this email but please send us the good values

In the mean time if you store the good values in the Default preset you won't need to deal with the issue anymore

It is simply an x,y,z rotation issue. I have to go in and create a correct image preset that I use with each layer.

It is the same in Coolux. You just adjust the setting. This may be due to it using a percentage rather then a value.
