I'm having a problem on a Pro Rev E getting video output to the GUI or the second monitor. At boot-up I see the first three screens, BIOS and such, then the GUI screen goes black (although the monitor is still seeing some sort of output - it doesn't shut off) and then - nothing. It's as if Windows is sending the video signal to a non-existent monitor. I've tried a wide variety of cable and monitor combinations. I've also tried adapters to go DVI to VGA.

If I only connect the video card normally used for output, not the GUI, nothing happens at all. The monitor doesn't even come on.

It's worked a few times in the past when normally connected but it would never remember the settings after its turned off. Now I can't get it to work at all. Ideas?

PS: Is it possible to enter SAFE mode on the Maxedia?

Hello,
If you only connect one screen, it should display the GUI. If not, can you switch to the GUI using ALT+TAB?
If so: startup Maxedia and reassign the screens in Maxedia.
Keep me posted about the progress.

Best Regards,

FYI turns out one of the Radeon cards went bad. Martin sent a new one under warrenty and that fixed it. All is well!
