 path error maxedia

hi... i hope everybody alrigth

so i begging with maxedia and at the first start , i can see this

E:\Shows\could not be created. This path is needed to save your shows.
Maxedia cannot operate without

so ... i try to repair the maxedia , not succés..

E: is the dvd , it's an Optiarc DVD RW AD-7173A
version maxedia 3.0.76 on an XP embadded version 2002 sp2.

somewhere have an idea ?

you have another Hard Drive Unit with the name "DATA" ?

Maxedia need This unit in "E" to run..

yess it's rigth , in fact ... i reinstall the os and now the data E it's an hard drive ans F for the dvd player....
and now i must install the maxedia logiciel ...but problem with the admin rigth for the sql server.

i take a break for today , i look for this tomorrow...

You need to go to the Disk Management utility in Windows and change the drive order.

In the Windos run command line type DISKMGMT.MSC and Press Enter that will bring you up the Disk Management utility.

First set the CD at G: and the the Data at E: and then the CD at F:

and there it should work.

it's ok Maxedia run correctly...
in fact i all reinstall... i can't test your solution Paul cause i reinstall os and maxedia 3 before , but i think it was the good answer..

i go enjoy now...
