Hi,

I want to install M-PC 64bit on Win7 but I keep getting the same error which is shown in the following screen shot.

Did anyone ever have this problem?

you probably have DreamWeaver or something like that installed.

This application steals the .JS extension.

You have to change it in Windows so the .JS is open by the Windows Scripting host application.

Yes I do have Dreamweaver installed, but I reassigned the .js extension to its normal behavior using a .reg file that I found in another topic. It seems to me like this error occurs during the execution of the .js script.

Hi,

I know it's been more than a year since my last post, but I'm still experiencing the same problem. It would be very appreciated if someone could help me with this issue.

Hi,

I experience the same problem on Windows 7 with 64 bit installer

My .js was assigned to UltraEdit and I made to fix that, but now I get this error-message.

Is it possible to manually install SQL-Server by using the command our of the SQLEXR.js file to manually start the install process?

Ingo

I also have the same problem. I have dremweaver installed.
I have changed the .js extension back to jscript.exe or Windows Scripting host application and it still gives me the same message. I also tried to manually install SQLEXR and the M-PC install still doesn't work.
I get the exact same popup message that PolySim gets...
Help would be appreciated!

I made a dedicated installer that forces the database install. M-PC will install properly after that.

You have to run the BAT file, not the EXE file.
