Hello all,

I am working with the M-PC Demo Version 2.81.380.0 (Preview Version)
on a XP 32 bit machine, the universal usb (black) 2 port dongle is attactched

No matter what I try I cannot get M-PC to save my screen layouts, I have tried saving the screens, saving the whole showfile and everytime I start up M-PC it goes back to the default window settings (Grouping tools, fixture groups, selected fixtures, and presets)
I like to customize my screen with the add window feature but can't get it to save. Yes I have tried to load every showfile that is in the folder ;)

Thanks in advance

I feel like such a newbie, I had to right click at the top of the screen where screen 1-16 is and record screen in order to save it. Don't know how I missed that while reading the help files :-)

Thanks again for your prompt response

OK

On a console you can also do like this

HOLD RECORD down and press the view to be recorded.

Good to know! I think that was the main issue was I was reading the help files for the actual console and not mpc ;-)

This post was about saving custom views on M-PC, not actual screenshots

I know this is an old topic but my question is related. I would like to have the currently selected cue list on my left auxiliary screen in every situation. I realize that I can record it into "program" for example, but then in a different view it is gone and it would have to be recorded in other views separately I guess. Is there any way that you can make something like this global in nature? I would even like for this to span shows and be related to the console in general, not just a particular show. Is this possible?

Hello Gary,

The Auto Screen Merge function has been removed from M-Series V. 3. It will hopefully be implemented back soon
