maxedia exe - application error
the instruction at ''0x17e37756'' referenced memory at ''0x00000000''. The memory could not be ''read''
Click on ok to terminate the program.

when i type ok, than the mexedia hangs and i have to restart it.
normally i ignore it and than i can work beside the error.
but today the error appears three times at the same time...and i couldn't do anything.... only restart it, while a TV Show! Live :-(

Thank you...

What version are you using?

P.S. "Latest version" is not an acceptable answer ;-)

Hello, I have the same problem, and on the live TV Show "The Voice of Ukraine" three times.
Version of Maxedia 4.40.127.4

I think, I find problem. In two Maxedias and in M1 I found virus "Trojan.MulDrop.478" in file "\Programm Files\Martin Professional\DisableWriteCashe.vbs"
PS On the next episode of live TV Show "The Voice Of Ukraine" I used 2 Maxedias with the same DMX Address (one Maxedia as main, another as backup) and M1 controller. Both Maxedias crashes in one time

I don't think this is the case.

The DisableWriteCache.vbs is a script that is used to ensure the write cache is not ON.
It is possible some anti-virus would see that as a threat.
The way the OS is design it is very unlikely to catch a virus unless someone would manually install one on purpose

What I would suggest is to back-up everything and re-install the OS.

We have some suspicion the issue might be in that feature.
