is there a recommended or specific router that should be used with the M1 Console?

There isn't currently an official recommended one I don't think? If there is I'd like to know too! ;-)

I have 3 Netgear WNDR3400 N600 units for use with M2GO/MPC/M1 which are dual band and work great. They arnt gigabit but I only ever use them to connect the OSC iPad remote to the desk and I don't think gigabit would make a difference here... Although I'm thinking of trying it now just to see! ;-)

Netgear stuff in general is solid. Most consumer routers will work for MaxRemote and OSC... If its for routing Art-Net or MaxNet, I'd consider a gigabit (or pair of) switch which will be more powerful and reliable.

Thanks.

I use an Apple Airport Extreme and it works beautifully. Most guys i know use linksys however since they are cheap and usually pretty good.
