So I have an M2GO that I received in December and I am using it for this show that ended today. Everything has worked great until this week. I am using V.411 and I have the midi card installed and I am using the external M-SYNC for Smpte Timecode follow.Yesterday while I was on the desk programming I lost DMX output 4 on the back of the desk. It was set to output universe 5 for the house lights of the venue. I had all 4 outputs available since I was using an Ether2DMX8 for universes 1-4 in dimmer world so I made DMXout put one set to Universe 5 and then I had no issues with it. Once I restarted it worked again on 4 and was fine for a little while and then started acting up again. Not long after I had the desk outputting the dmx really slow over the physical outputs and the Ether2DMX8. I would drag the house fader down and it would take 5 seconds to see the house lights drop. It was the same with the movers on the Ether2DMX8. Then a couple times the desk locked up so bad while I was programming that I had to restart it. In one of those instances when the console locked the small parameter screen on the bottom right of the desk showed what looked like white noise (snow) on a Television. Once I powered off and back on I had it back.
Also today, while using the M-SYNC we started having ghost time code issues that would throw the console around in the cuelist during manual go times with monologues and such. Then when it went back into music the timecode was fine. It only did it when the timecode being fed from audio was idle. We have used it for 2 weeks before though with no issues. They changed the XLR and usb cable to the M-SYNC and still had the same issue. They even tried different usb ports on the desk and still had the same problem.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Last week at a show in Denver output 4 was acting up as well. What path should I take to make sure everything is alright with the desk? We were using 5 universes with 20 sharpies, 36 Robin 600's, and 23 VL3500's. Not a super huge rig so I didn't think it would be the size of the show dragging it down.
While there are some known issues in the current release software I don't see quite the same symptoms here. This could be a problem with the DMX port, causing some overall delays for example. Email me directly and we'll sort it out.
