I booted my console and realized that my external monitor was set for analog. I changed it to digital and it was not recognized. So I power cycled the console. When it booted back up I had the M1 splash screen on the external monitor, but nothing on the on board monitor and none of the lights on the console. I tried again with the same result. Its strange, it is like the external monitor, witch I use all the time, messed with the boot process. Any suggestions?

Try to boot without an external monitor attached.

Hi Matthias,
I already tried that. I unplugged everything except the power and still had no luck. Any other suggestions?

You may want to install the 3.0 OS to resolve this, that will be faster than experimenting around what caused this I think.

3.0 is a full OS, you boot it from a USB stick and the display settings won't matter for it. It will format your hard drive, so be careful.

Will my current show in 2.92.411.0 carry over to 3.0?

Yes, all showfiles are compatible. just make sure you have the show on a USB stick as the drive in the m1 will be formatted.
Do you know if your M1 has an SSD drive? You should update if not.

So, just a heads up,I brought in to work here at Mainlight and had Thom look at it. It is actually the power distribution board. Thank you for your help.
Cheers,
Bobby
