If you record the effect as a chase you can tap wit the beat to set a speed.

If you use the fx from the machine you need to record the effect and the speed separated from each other and record them on both separated faders.
For exampe select your fixtures go to the fx from p/t and set the speed to max, record the speeds as a override.

For the strobe you can use 2 faders if you want. Select the strobe max the intensity record this as an override, do the same with the rate.

Hello,

See about Speed Faders here:
http://martin.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=22357

Recording a Strobe on a fader is done like any other attribute. Set a Strobe level, then record to a fader, as an Override
Open the Selected CL window, for that fader, press 'Edit Mode' (button color change to red), touch the Default text, under the Fade mode column. On the small pop up window above the cue name, press the Fade all Channels option

Hi Omer,

Yes, you are right. It is better to do it the other way around, though.

First, select the fixtures and the desired attribute (say Pan/Tilt), and record only the Speed at full to an Override.
Next, use this fader, when recording PT effects. This way they are recorded without a speed info
