I get "error 27502. Could not connect to the Microsoft SQL server (localldb)\martin controller. Unable to complete process due to delay in openin server connection."

Any ideas ?

you have a different error number but it could be the same issue.

Would they be located within a folder in \users\username? I don't see any files like that. I even searched for *.mdf and *.ldf and no files showed up

Can I go from version 2.92 to the download on the Martin website? Or is there an i between version I need to install first?

You can go from 2.92 to 3.x

But I suggest you uninstall the old version and the SQL 2005 first.

Hi guys !

i've got the same problem here, error 27502. Already tried the Clean MPC tool and also already tried to manually start the sql server.

Can someone help me with a solution or something ?

Hi guys !

For more details on my computer: Windows 8.1, I had installed the last mpc official release (3.42.570.0)on user 1.
I created User 2 AND deleted user 1, the error 27502 came since then.

Possible solutions already tried:
- Uninstall everything from martin
- CleanMPC tool (from Paul Pelletier)
- Reboot several times
- Deleted MAXNETWorkSpace.mdf and MAXNETWorkSpace_log.ldf from the User 1 folders.

- Turned off the UAC (and redo the entire process of cleanMPC)


Now I am trying to install the beta release as you suggest it, it is working but got stucked for 1 hour or more and stil "processing" but the status bar does not move. I will wait more time to see...

Thank you for your help you are the best client service that I know !!

PS: sorry for my bad english, I am a young french canadian that is learning everyday !

Hy,
Using win 10 x64 and Mpc V3.50.641.0; impossible to install Mpc; I always have "error 27502 could not connect to Microsoft SQL Server'(localdb)\.\MartinMSeries' login timeout".
I spend hours installing, downloading, sql and mpc and it still doesnt work...

Hi@all,
i got the same Error "27502" when installing M-PC 3.50 on my Win10 Pro x64 Notebook.
Uninstalling, Cleanup-Tool, etc. doesn't work.

After Uninstalling, Reboot i tried something:
I searched the Registry for everything "Martin","M-PC",...
and i think i found something.

I'm not sure, wether it's the right thing, but after deleting a Special-Key manually, the Installer finished.
Be careful there. Again: I'm not sure, wether it's the right way. But, till now the Notebook is still running without a problem:

Go to the Registry, mark the "Computer", "strg+F" and search for "UserInstances".
It might take some time and you'll find a Folder "UserInstances" in "Microsoft SQL Server".
If there is just one Entry "Standard" go on ("F3") and look for another Folder.
I think there were two more folders. Look for one Folder with other Key(s) than "Standard".
One of them should have some Information about Mx-Manager, Martin, etc.
Delete this one Special key.

Reboot, Install M-PC 3.50. as Admin again.

Just an Idea:
I take no guaranty if something went wrong. :)

Hey There,
thanks for your Reply.

I was in contact with Martin E-Mail Support and got the Tool from the Dropbox on 05.01.16.
I've downloaded and ran it on 05.01. without success.
Installation still stops with Error 27502.
Sorry. :(

after deleating this one reg-Key everything runs fine.
The MS-Security Patch Problem seems to be solved by MS too.

Yes please let us know what was removed to resolve. I am getting this error as well.

If it was the SQL identity key, I don't have any outside of default.
