Hi,
I can't install MPC V3.40.543.0 on my laptop.

I try this :
- Uninstall the Martin Driver Package
- Reboot my PC.
- Run the utility MPCCleaner
- Reboot the PC and try to install M-PC again.

But IT doesn't work... pop-up installation never finish, never close.

My Laptop :
SONY SVF13N1L2ES
Windows 8.1 64-bit
Only One User
I have administrator rights
no firewall when I'm installing MPC
no antivirus when I'm installing MPC

I try a second time with compatibility mode Windows 7 and it doesn't work.

On my Desk Computer It's working fine (Win7).

Can you help me ?

Hello Eric,

Did you only uninstall the Martin Driver Package before running the cleaning tool? Because you will also need to uninstall M-PC (if there was a previously installed version) before running the cleaning tool. Do you have other Martin software installed on that notebook? Where does it go wrong? Does the installation never stops or never starts? Can you send me a screenshot at controllersupport@martin.dk ?
Can you try again when making sure that no ethernet connections are made? (turn-off WLAN and disconnect ethernet cable).

Hello,

I'm having issues with MPC V3.42.570.0 during install and starting the program on my laptop.

During the install all goes well until "removing backup files" screen. This process takes 1 hour, yes I said 1 hour. After that it gives me the usual finish install button and completes the install.

Upon starting the program it will stall on "starting LIVE output" screen. This can go on for a very long time, 30 minutes or more. I've discovered that during this process, there is a dialog box that is hidden under the previous info screen which says "DAX ERROR". Upon recognizing/closing this box, the program finishes booting and opens.

I've uninstalled MPC, Martin Driver Package and ran M-PC Cleaner after rebooting the computer. I've also downloaded the application several times to see if it was a bad download.

This issues only began with the install of this version.

Any ideas what is wrong?

After a few emails describing my issues, Kris remoted into my laptop and worked his magic. I re-installed MPC v.570 and all is well again.
