Hi,

For some time now I've been having issues with the small touchscreen on my M2PC. The image is randomly distorted and overlayed whenever I use an encoder and lately even when I edit parameters on the connected computer.

Picture of the issue: http://postimg.org/image/4ok0fbt8z/

I tried updating the firmeare several times, no luck... It happens on other computers as well...

Hello there, Sorry to hear you have issues with M2PC.

but I have some questions

You say you tried to update firmware and no luck.
Firmware updates are not working?

What Firmware is on the main PCB of the M2PC?

Is the USB port 2.0 and 3.0 on that (these PC) ?
Is the USB cable 2.0 type?

Hi Paul,

Firmware update is working and the firmware is the last one included with the current software release. I installed it over the existing one (same version), but no change.

I've tried both USB 2.0 and USB 3 ports, the cable used is the original one that came with the console. I've tried it with a different cable, no luck...

Hello,

The same happens with my M2PC.
I assumed this was a known issue, cause I have it since the beggining.

I never saw anything like this, and I've seen many, many M2PCs, and M2GOs

I've seen it on M2PC, but as far as I know this USB timing issue was fixed a while back.

Maybe there are still some situation where it happens.

We will need to investigate further.

Yes thanks for having a look at it.
For me it happens quite a lot and its kinda annoying. You have to touch somewhere on the touchscreen to make it update and show correct image.

Best regards

Yes, and I really like that nature, Paul :-)

But frankly, with the Beta still not being out to Beta Forum users, I found it a bit unrealistic...

Hope I will be proved wrong ;-)

I had same issue with M2PC and small touchscreen, firmware is 3.40, release 3.44.604 and Win 10! With restore point returning to Win 7 and everything is fine.
Regards!
